About us
In 1984, two cousins, Duane D. Myers and Larry Cartwright, founded the M & C Insurance Agency, Inc. as a small, two-person agency, providing personal and commercial insurance services throughout Camden, New Jersey, and the surrounding Camden County communities. Later, Myers' mother, Jacqueline, joined the duo and served for several years as his receptionist, then customer service manager, and all-around right-hand woman.
By 1995, the company had experienced enough growth to warrant a second office. They chose Westfield Avenue in Pennsauken, New Jersey, serving the insurance needs of clients in Pennsauken, Merchantville, Cherry Hill, Palmyra, Maple Shade, Cinnaminson, Delran and other surrounding areas.
Over the years, we have established personal relationships with our clients by providing prompt, courteous service. It's not about providing the cheapest insurance; it's about providing the proper coverage to protect our client's assets and lives.
People count on us because we are independent agents, free to choose the best carrier for your insurance needs. We do not work for an insurance company; we work for you on your side. About Duane D. Myers
Duane D. Myers, President, CEO, and licensed Broker, is the founder and driving force behind M & C Insurance Agency, Inc. He earned a bachelor's in accounting from Rutgers University, CCAS. He currently holds licenses in Property, Casualty, Life, and he also earned a certificate for Insurance Practice and Principles.
Mr. Myers serves on the Board of Trustees The Cooper Hospital for CamCare Health Corporation, The Boys and Girls Club of Camden County, and the Travelers Agent Advisory Board. In 2005, he was the recipient of the Camden County Freedom Medal, offered by the Camden County Board of Chosen Freeholders. In addition, Mr. Myers also supports many youth and civic organizations, including Toys for Tots™ and the Track Teams for Camden High and Woodrow Wilson High School, to name a few.
About Terry A. Mason Jr.
Terry A. Mason Jr. is the senior vice president of M & C Insurance Agency, Inc. He joined the agency in 1988 after attending Rutgers University, where he studied business administration and holds a certificate for insurance practice and principles of the South Jersey School of Business.
His previous professional experiences include marketing, sales, and service positions with AT&T™, Bell Atlantic NJ-PA™, and IBM Corporation™. Mr. Mason also heads our commercial insurance lines division.

What are we doing to keep you safe? Our response to Covid-19:
We have adopted the following protocols recommended by the CDC and the World Health Organization including, but not limited to reducing the amount of customers in the office at any one time to 50% capacity so that we can maintain a 6 foot social distance, requiring all staff and clients to wear a mask on premises, enhanced cleaning procedures in all high traffic areas as well as sanitizing seating areas, desks, and writing instruments between clients.
We now also offer contact-less options with curbside pick-up and drop off for payments and applications, as well as the option to apply and pay by phone (valid email address required).
